We are seeking an experienced Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor to lead our 1st shift housekeeping team at a large, high-acuity hospital in the Los Angeles area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands hospital cleaning standards, patient-centered service, and team accountability.
The EVS Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This leader will manage frontline staff, ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Supervise and support EVS associates across assigned hospital areas
Ensure all cleaning and disinfection meets hospital, Joint Commission, and infection-control standards
Conduct inspections and quality audits of assigned areas
Train, coach, and discipline staff as needed
Manage staffing levels, assignments, and coverage
Respond to customer service issues and urgent cleaning requests
Maintain productivity, safety, and supply standards
Collaborate with nursing, facilities, and hospital leadership
