Environmental Services (EVS) Technician – Part-Time (Fri–Sun, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM)
Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Environmental Services (EVS) Technician to provide cleaning and sanitation services at a rehabilitation hospital in Downey. The position is responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly, and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors in accordance with healthcare standards.

Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour

Ideal candidates have previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

• Rotate through various areas of the hospital: (OR, Pharmacy, Outpatient Care, Central Processing, and patient care. 
• Perform sanitizing and disinfection of patient rooms and common areas.
• Empty, clean, and damp wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove wastepaper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Vacuuming carpet areas in offices 
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.  
• Sweep or dust mop hard floor surfaces. 
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.

• 1+ years of custodial experience a plus
• Prior experience cleaning in healthcare facilities preferred
