Bilingual Janitorial Supervisor – Downtown LA Courthouses
We’re hiring a Bilingual Janitorial Supervisor to manage a janitorial staff of 40 employees across four large courthouses in downtown Los Angeles. This salaried role includes supervising teams, coordinating schedules, conducting inspections, and ensuring service quality meets strict courthouse standards.
While responsible for multiple locations, travel is scheduled as needed — you will not be required to cover all sites in a single day. Strong leadership and bilingual communication skills are essential in this high-profile public sector environment.

Supervise and support janitorial staff across multiple facilities during the 2nd shift (1 PM – 10 PM).
Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and inspect work to ensure quality and compliance with cleanliness standards.
Coach and train employees on safe equipment and chemical use; model proper safety behaviors.
Recruit, onboard, and train new staff to build a strong, reliable team.
Mentor and develop employees; provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action when needed.
Ensure facilities remain “inspection ready” at all times.
Partner with HR and leadership to address employee relations and staffing needs.
Build strong relationships with clients and maintain excellent communication.
Lead special projects and make sure teams have the supplies, tools, and support they need.
3+ years of janitorial lead or supervisory experience (multi-site preferred).
Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate.
Effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
Tech-savvy with familiarity in timekeeping systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
Excellent client relations and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and achieve goals through your team.
