The Role

What You Will Do

  • Makes sure contracted services meet client requirements and are completed as specified, serving as the main contact for any client concerns or questions. Helps negotiate contract renewals and identify new business opportunities.
  • Guarantees that site staff and managers fully understand and consistently carry out their duties safely.
  • Verifies each site has enough team members and managers with the right skills for the job.
  • Manages recruitment across multiple locations by opening job requisitions, selecting and interviewing candidates, providing feedback, and assisting with hiring decisions.
  • Oversees payroll processes for all sites in the portfolio, ensuring managers complete necessary tasks, reviewing and approving timesheets, running timekeeping reports, and analyzing workforce data for useful metrics.
  • Clearly communicates safety procedures and job training to both service teams and management.
  • Guides employee development and serves as the escalation point for employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions; works with human resources when needed.

What It Takes To Be Successful

  • 5+ years of experience in a service-related industry, ideally within facilities or janitorial management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and support diverse teams.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in timekeeping systems and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused and facing approach.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • A self-starter who is reliable, proactive, and able to work independently. 
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Physically able to stand or walk for 4–6 hours at a time and lift up to 25 pounds as required.
