Full-Time Cleaner – 2nd Shift (County Courthouse)

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our janitorial team at a large county courthouse. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position offering steady hours and the opportunity to work in a professional, high-profile environment.

As part of our team, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming courthouse for staff and the public. Duties include general cleaning, sanitizing restrooms and common areas, trash removal, and other tasks to ensure the facility meets strict cleanliness and safety standards.

• Empty, clean, and damp wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove wastepaper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas in offices, lobbies, and corridors.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.  
• Sweep or dust mop hard floor surfaces. 
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.

• Must be able to successfully obtain LA County badge by passing LA County's Live Scan background check

• 1+ years custodial cleaning experience or equivalent preferred
