The Role

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Builds strong, professional relationships with both clients and staff, consistently reflecting Servicon’s values, mission, and objectives in every interaction. Responds promptly and effectively to client and staff needs, ensuring a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Ensure Safety and Excellence: Lead the implementation and adherence to safety protocols across all facilities, conducting regular inspections and evaluations to maintain a safe environment and exceptional janitorial standards.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Conduct monthly safety meetings, perform on-the-spot corrections, provide counseling, and offer retraining to address unsafe practices and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Lead and Inspire Teams: Supervise, manage, and train janitorial staff, aligning performance with both client and company expectations. Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure all tasks meet or exceed the defined scope and procedures.
  • Optimize Resources: Implement janitorial policies and procedures that promote efficiency and sustainability, ensuring effective use of staff, supplies, equipment, and time while delivering top-tier results.
  • Ensure Client Satisfaction: Support the Director of Operations by helping to meet or exceed the goals outlined in client agreements and Statements of Work, consistently delivering high-quality results that exceed expectations.
  • Strategic Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain a monthly calendar of quality assurance evaluations, compile statistics, and create detailed account-related reports to keep key stakeholders informed.
  • Problem Solving & Innovation: Approach challenges as opportunities for growth and improvement, offering effective solutions to resolve janitorial and scheduling issues while recommending strategies for greater operational efficiencies.
  • Flexible Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Tuesday and Thursday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Hours may be adjusted based on workload or project needs, providing flexibility for the employee.

What It Takes to be Successful

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ relevant managerial experience in Facility Services or a related field.
  • Strong commitment to high-level service and quality standards
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, develop and lead a team
  • Willingness to work a variable work schedule—to include, day shifts, evening, and night shifts
  • Efficient computer knowledge, proficiency in utilizing all Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience working with union contracts is preferred
  • Ability to obtain security clearance
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
  • A criminal background check, results of which are not necessarily a bar to employment and drug screen are required.
  • Must possess AND maintain a valid driver's license, and a driving record that aligns with company standards.
