The Role

We’re seeking an organized and resourceful Human Resources Administrator who can expertly manage HR processes, support employee needs, and help drive team success—all while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid work environment. This role covers a broad range of HR responsibilities, from maintaining site badging records to ensuring compliance and supporting key HR initiatives. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Be the go-to contact for employee inquiries, providing excellent customer service and escalating issues as needed.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on background checks, drug screenings, and health screenings to ensure new hires meet compliance standards.
  • Accurately input personnel data into our HRIS system and perform regular quality checks to ensure accuracy.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives by setting timelines, conducting research, and driving process improvements.
  • Manage all aspects of site badging process, including gathering documentation, supporting employees, and maintaining records.
  • Assist with compliance reporting and provide support for audits and other legal requirements.
  • Respond to state unemployment claims, EDD employment information requests, and employee files from legal and/or workers’ comp, as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by consistently demonstrating our core values.
  • Provide back up to other HR personnel during absences and excessive workload.
  • Performs other duties as required.

What It Takes to be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years of Human Resources experience, with exposure to the employee life cycle processes preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English & Spanish required.
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS (UKG, UltiPro, ADP, Peoplesoft, Workday, Success Factors, etc.)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong customer-service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with a wide range of clients, individually and in groups.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing business demands and priorities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects both collectively and independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to switch quickly between responsibilities and adapt to changing needs and requests.
  • Human Resources file management experience, including maintenance of personnel files, job files, and other HR record keeping requirements.
  • Knowledge of laws/regulations relating to Human Resources in California, preferred
  • PHR/SHRM-CP Certification preferred.
